Platts proposes to assess 90,000 mt Long Range 2 clean tanker freight rates from West Coast India to the United Kingdom Continent. The assessment would reflect a minimum chartered cargo size of is 90,000 mt and higher for middle distillates, and 75,000 mt and higher for naphtha cargoes. This route will assess the loadports of Sikka and Vadinar in the West Coast India state of Gujarat. The discharge ports will be basis Rotterdam and Amsterdam in Northwest Europe. These rates will be published in the Platts Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 136. Platts proposes to add the assessments on March 1, 2012.
