Platts is proposing to change the description of Gulf Coast alkylate, raffinate and reformate assessments in the US blendstocks markets with effect from January 12, 2015.
This would affect three assessments: AAXBA00 (alkylate), AAXBB00 (raffinate) and AAXBC00 (reformate), plus assessments for differentials for those products. Differentials are published under the product codes AAFIE00, AAJMU00, AAJMV00, AAXBD00, AAXBE00, and AAXBF00.
The assessments are labeled as "FOB USGC pipeline" and are proposed to be labeled "FOB USGC waterborne," to correct the basis. The error first appeared on December 3, 2012.
Information about the assessments appear in US Marketscan, on PGA 760 and PGA 338, in code descriptions and in the methodology and specifications guide.
