Platts proposes to launch daily assessments for the value of North Sea Duc and Troll crudes with effect from March 1, 2012.
The assessments would reflect cargoes of 600,000 barrels, 10-25 days forward of the date of publication. Duc would be assessed basis loading FOB Fredericia, and a typical quality of 33.9 API degrees, a sulfur content of 0.25% and a Total Acid Number of 0.36.
Troll would be assessed basis FOB Mongstad, and a typical quality of 35.9 API degrees, a sulfur content of 0.14% and a Total Acid Number of 0.44.
The assessments will be published in Crude Oil Markewire, Platts Global Alert and Oilgram Price Report.
