December holiday assessment changes for Americas oil markets

Changes to the Platts assessment schedule for Americas oil markets due to the December holidays are as follows:

Platts will assess the Americas crude oil and refined products markets on Thursday, December 23, earlier in the day than usual, ending the assessment process at 1:30 p.m. EST/12:30 p.m. CST.

The Market on Close assessment process for barges and pipeline grades will be from 1:00 p.m. EST/12:00 p.m. CST to 1:30 p.m. EST/12:30 p.m. CST. For cargoes, the MOC process will be from 12:45 p.m. EST/11:45 p.m. CST to 1:30 p.m. EST/12:30 p.m. CST.

On Friday, December 24, Platts will not assess the Americas crude oil and refined products markets.

On Monday, December 27, and Tuesday, December 28, Platts will not assess the Canadian crude oil and refined products markets, because of holidays in Canada.
