Christmas, New Year publishing schedule for Platts Americas Metals

S&P Global Commodity Insights offices in the US and Latin America will be closed on Dec. 25, 2023, and Jan. 1, 2024, in observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.

There will be no Platts daily ferrous or nonferrous metals assessments published on those days. On Dec. 26, there will be no US aluminum transaction premium published, as the London Metal Exchange will be closed. Also, US black mass percentage payables will be published on Dec. 26, but there will be no Ni-Co black mass DDP US calculated price published.

US lead assessments will be published on Wednesday, Dec. 27. US aluminum alloys/scrap and NY tin will be assessed once for the week on Dec. 26. Weekly Brazilian ferrous and nonferrous scrap assessments typically published on Mondays will be published on Tuesday Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Additionally, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will close its Americas Market on Close assessment process early on Dec. 22 and Dec. 29, with all daily and weekly assessments to be published on a 12:30 pm US Eastern basis on those days.
