SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to change flat rate used in Australia-N.Asia Aframax assessment

S&P Global Platts will amend the basket of Worldscale flat rates used to calculate the Aframax Australia-North Asia 80,000 mt dirty tanker freight assessment in $/mt (TDAFE00) effective January 2, 2019.

With Worldscale ceasing to publish flat rate basis Stybarrow Venture MV16 terminal, Platts will consider the flat rate from the nearby Barrow Island in the basket used for the $/mt assessment.

The change in the basket of flat rates is as follows:

CURRENT: Dampier - Yosu Pyrenees Venture - Zhoushan Stybarrow Venture MV16 - Zhanjiang

NEW: Dampier - Yosu Pyrenees Venture - Zhoushan Barrow Island - Zhanjiang
