SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to assess Med premium gasoline swaps

Platts proposes to launch assessments for FOB Mediterranean premium unleaded 10 ppm gasoline swaps with effect from March 3, 2014. Platts proposes to add these assessments to its coverage following notable liquidity demonstrated in 2013. These new assessments would initially reflect the balance-month, front-month and second-month swaps values in dollars per metric ton. Assessments would be published as outright values, and as a differential to the Eurobob Gasoline FOB ARA Barge swaps assessments for the same months (currently published on Platts Forward Curve Europe, its real-time derivatives information service, on page 1636). Platts expects to publish these new assessments on PFC Europe, with a page and market database symbols to be announced in due course. Platts welcomes all feedback and questions to europe_products@platts.com, with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com. Please send all comments by February 3.
