Northwest European butadiene monthly assessment

Following response from the industry after Platts request for feedback on October 22, 2010, Platts will introduce a new monthly contract price assessment for Northwest European butadiene from January 2011 to replace the Ineos Olefins Contract Price.

This new assessment, basis FD NWE in Eur/mt, will be published in the Platts Petrochemical Alert (PCA) as well as the Olefinscan.

Concurrently, Platts will discontinue the Ineos Olefins Contract Price as soon as the new butadiene MCP is introduced.
