December 24 and 31 holiday notice for US coal

Per the Platts Holiday Schedule, Platts will not publish North American coal assessments December 24, 2010, or December 31, 2010.

Because of the December 24 holiday, the last day of trading for the January 2011 prompt month for purposes of calculating final monthly averages will be Thursday, December 23, 2010.

The final monthly prompt-month averages for Platts Daily OTC Assessments and the Platts Broker Index will be based on the daily assessments of the January 2011 prompt month from trade date Monday, November 29 through trade date Thursday, December 23.
