Subscriber note: North American coal holiday notice

Per the Platts Holiday schedule (www.platts.com/HolidayHome), Platts will not publish North American daily coal assessments Tuesday, December 25, because of the Christmas holiday. In addition, Coal Trader will not be published Tuesday, December 25.

Daily assessments based on trading Monday, December 24, will be published that day through Platts Electricity Alert and Platts Market Data, and in the December 26 issue of Coal Trader.

Per the Platts methodology, the last day of trading for the January 2013 prompt month for purposes of calculating final monthly averages will be Monday, December 24. The final monthly prompt-month averages for Platts Daily OTC Assessments and the Platts Broker Index will be based on the daily assessments of the January 2013 prompt month from trade date Monday, November 26, through trade date Monday, December 24.
