Platts confirms it will launch a new dry bulk Panamax freight assessment February 1, 2016, reflecting the established trade route of bauxite from Kamsar, Guinea, to San Ciprian, Spain.
The launch of an assessment for this route follows the proposal published November 24, 2015. This new assessment will reflect strong market interest in this route and will be based on modern Panamax dry bulk tonnage.
This assessment will be published on a dollar-per-metric-ton basis. The following route will be introduced:
Size Cargo type Origin Destination 59kt Bauxite Kamsar, Guinea; San Ciprian, Spain
