Platts proposes new NWE PET CP assessment

Platts is seeking industry feedback on its intention to introduce a Northwest European polyethylene terephthalate net contract price weekly assessment to be published in the Platts Petrochemical Alert and the Polymerscan.

The net contract assessment will reflect PET bottle grade and refers to regular business at prices negotiated between buyers and sellers on a monthly basis. The assessment will be basis FD Germany in euro/mt and will run concurrent to the gross contract price assessment FD Germany euro/mt.
