Starting December 16, 2009, Platts is publishing assessments for Eastern Siberian Pipeline Oil (ESPO) exported from the Russian Far East port of Kozmino.
The new FOB crude oil assessment will be assessed daily in US dollars and cents per barrel. The assessment will be normalized to reflect cargoes of 100,000 mt and transactions between 80,000 to 140,000 mt of normal export quality will be considered.
Platts assessments will reflect cargoes loading 15 to 45 days ahead from date of publication, with the value determined at the close of the European markets at 4:30 pm London time.
