Mercury tolerance in Asia naphtha cargoes

Please note cargoes of naphtha bought and sold during Platts' assessment process in Asia are expected to fully conform to the specifications defined in Platts published methodology guide, including mercury tolerance.

Platts' specifications currently set a maximum tolerance for mercury in naphtha at 1 part per billion.

These defined quality standards are expected to apply to all cargoes supplied as a result of trading during Platts assessment process.

Exceptions are not generally made for country of origin, or for any other reason.

Exceptions to any terms and conditions of trade, including quality, can only be made with the mutual consent of buyer and seller.

At all times, naphtha supplied through the Platts assessment process is expected to be of merchantable quality.
