15 Dec 2009 | 11:05 UTC — New York
Due to the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, Platts will make some adjustments to its price assessment dates for weekly and twice-weekly metals prices.
During Christmas week and the following week, Platts will assess US aluminum alloys/scrap and NY tin once for each week, on Tuesday.
Platts weekly metals price assessments normally done on Wednesday will be done on Tuesday, and weekly prices normally assessed on Thursday will be assessed on Wednesday.
Monthly averages will publish on Platts Metals Alert as expected on December 31. Metals Week will publish on Monday, December 28, and again on Monday, January 4, 2010, instead of on December 25 and December 31.
Please see platts.com, Methodology and Reference under Holiday Schedule, for a more detailed explanation of the changes (HolidayHome.aspx) or for any questions, contact Jackie Roche: jacqueline_roche@platts.com.
