Platts to begin publishing Xpansiv SD-GEO Spot Settlement from Jan 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will begin publishing the Xpansiv CBL SD-GEO spot settlement from Jan. 3, 2023.

This follows on from Xpansiv CBL decision to launch the SD-GEO spot market contract from Dec. 5, 2022. The announcement for SD-GEO is available here: https://xpansiv.com/cbl-launches-sustainable-development-global-emissions-offset/.

Platts will publish both the spot settlement, benchmarked to 2:30 pm New York time in line with the other Xpansiv CBL spot market contracts, as well as a 12:00 GMT spot market assessment.

Both of these assessments will published in Platts Carbon Markets Dailly, on Platts Carbon Markets Alert and Energy Transition Alert, and in the Platts Pricing Database under market data category CBN.
