Platts corrects quotation of EU gas storage data in daily market commentary Dec. 8

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has corrected a year-on-year comparison between the level of EU member states' natural gas storage fill, published in daily market commentary Dec. 8 with the headline "European gas futures trend down mildly amid secure supply."

Platts has corrected the originally stated annual comparison between EU gas storage fill on Dec. 16, 2023, and Dec. 16, 2022, to Dec. 6, 2023, and Dec. 6, 2022, quoted using data from Gas Infrastructure Europe.

Platts has corrected the differential on these days to 1.71% for Dec. 6. from the nearly 10% originally quoted for Dec. 16.

Platts has corrected the originally stated fill levels for Dec. 16, 2023, and Dec. 16, 2022, of nearly 92% and 84.62% to 92.14% and 90.43% for Dec. 6, 2023 and Dec. 6, 2022, respectively.
