Platts to change the JKM forward curve methodology

Our JKM forward curve methodology will change beginning December 16 to accommodate new Platts JKM assessments (as explained in the subscriber note https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/092719-platts-proposes-to-launch-seasonal-and-calendar-year-jkm-derivative-assessments).

The general process will be the same, but you will notice a difference in the first three years of the curve as we align with the longer assessments. If you have any questions please reach out to the team at PL_Risk_Production@spglobal.com.
