Platts Christmas, New Year publishing schedule for Asia metals

The S&P Global Platts Singapore office will be closed on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, for Christmas Day observed, and there will be no daily iron ore, coking coal, steel, alumina, copper, and other nonferrous metals assessments published from Singapore on that day.

Additionally, Platts in Asia will close its Market on Close assessment process early on Friday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 31, and all assessments will be basis 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT).

Normal Singapore publishing schedule will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 28 and Monday, January 3, 2022.

There will also be no publication of the Platts CIF Japan spot and quarterly aluminum assessments on Monday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday Dec. 28, as these follow Japan and UK holiday schedules. The UK will be closed on these days to observe both the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays.

The Japan assessments will resume on Dec. 29, but they will not be published on Friday, Dec. 31, and Monday Jan. 3, 2022, as it will be a bank holiday in Japan, and the UK will be closed for New Year's Day observed, respectively.
