SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts revises LNG APDR, ATDR vessel sizes

Following an earlier announcement, Platts has made a decision to update its Asia Pacific LNG Carrier Day Rates (APDR) and Atlantic LNG Carrier Day Rates (ATDR) assessments to account for carriers of 155,000-180,000 cu m.

Platts will also update the voyage times used in its freight cost calculation assumptions to reflect point to point distances and current trade patterns in LNG.

The revised assumptions would become effective January 4, 2016, on page NG1025 of Platts Natural Gas Alert and in the Shipping and Price tables on pages 3 and 6 of the LNG Daily newsletter and on the Platts LNG Navigator and Platts Market Center services.
