10 ppm CIF Med diesel cargo assessments

In line with changing market requirements, Platts will start reflecting in its 10 ppm CIF Med diesel cargo assessments, bids and offers for 10 ppm ULSD cargoes in to Turkish Mediterranean and Sea of Marmara ports which may require vessels which have working stern line discharge capabilities.

Any bid in to a port that requires a working stern line discharge will be normalized back to reflect the typical fleet of vessels.

Bids and offers into such ports should state the actual terminal within the port required. Bids and offers into Black Sea ports will be reported, but will not currently be taken in to account for assessment purposes.

Platts will not show bids which require a vessel capable of stern discharge unless the basis port of that bid has a stern discharge requirement.
