Platts is proposing to introduce European spot assessments for diethylene glycol beginning January 18, 2013. The proposed assessments will reflect weekly spot transactions on an FCA NWE basis for trucks and FD NWE basis for cargoes, both in euro/mt. Assessments will reflect product for a loading date of up to 30 days from the day of publication. Truck assessments will take into account deals of at least 24-50 mt and cargoes of at least 100 mt. All spot assessments would reflect a minimum purity of 99.5%. All assessment are duty paid or T2. All price assessments will reflect the close of European markets, time stamped at 1630 GMT subject to the typical guidelines of the Platts Market on Close assessment process. Please provide feedback by Jan 1 to Nandita Lal at Nandita_lal@platts.com, Michelle Ho at Michelle_Ho@platts.com, Ilana Djelal at Ilana_Djelal@platts.com with copy to petchems@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com
