SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to amend date ranges for tanker assessments

S&P Global Platts is proposing to update the date ranges reflected in the fixing windows for its global clean and dirty tanker assessments, owing to changes in the shipping markets. Platts proposes to make these changes from February 1, 2017.

Platts understands that date ranges for shipping fixtures have changed substantially in recent years as a result of natural changes in shipping flows.
