SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts adds 37% Mn ore price, aligns assessing to weekly

Effective December 5, Platts has launched a new spot price assessment for 37% manganese ore CIF China (AAXRX00). This assessment is in addition to the current Platts assessment for 44% Mn ore CIF China (AAWER00), which as of December 5 will be assessed weekly on Fridays. The price assessments are published in Platts Metals Alert, Platts Metals Daily, Platts Metals Week and Platts SBB Steel Markets Daily, and data-only packages are available on Market Data, with monthly averages also available on the same services.
