S&P Global Platts corrects US copper transaction price

S&P Global Platts is correcting the values for the US copper transaction price (symbol MMCUT00) that appeared last week in the Nov. 24 and Nov. 26 editions of Metals Daily.

A technical error last week prevented the values for MMCUT00 from properly updating on Nov. 24 and Nov. 26, causing a miscalculation in the weekly average (symbol MMCUT04) and the monthly average (MMCUT03).

The correct daily values for MMCUT00 on Nov. 24 and Nov. 26 should be 454.55 cents/lb and 436.90 cents/lb, respectively. The correct weekly average for MMCUT04 for the week ending Nov. 26 should be 447.788 cents/lb, while the correct monthly average for MMCUT03 for November should be 445.324 cents/lb.
