Platts clarifies the factor for US polymer prices from cents/lb to $/mt is calculated using 22.046.
Beginning February 1, 2016, the following codes will use 22.046 instead of 22.04 in order to achieve uniformity for Platts $/mt conversions: AASIX00 (PVC Susp US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASIY00 (LDPE US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASIZ00 (LLDPE Butene US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJA00 (HDPE Inj US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJG00 (HDPE B/Mldg US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJH00 (HDPE Film US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJI00 (PS G-P US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJJ00 (HIPS US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJK00 (PP Homo Inj US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly), AASJL00 (PP Fiber US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly) and AASJM00 (ABS Inj US Domestic Dlvd Railcar Weekly).
