Platts launches daily bisphenol-A assessments for Europe, Asia Dec 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched daily bisphenol-A price assessments in Asia and Europe on Dec. 1.

The new assessments complement the existing Platts assessments for bisphenol-A feedstocks phenol and acetone.

The assessments were first proposed Oct. 6 in Europe and Asia.

The new assessments are published on business days in line with regional publication schedules and based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the Platts Market on Close assessment process.

All market information reported to Platts may be considered and will be published in real-time, including firm bids and offers, trades and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process. Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized accordingly.
