CORRECTION

A Nov. 29 article about trends in generation growth in the US power markets contained incorrect information about California hydro power historical and projected monthly output. In fact, California's monthly hydro output peaked around 1.8 TWh in July 2021 and July 2022 and about 3.8 TWh in May 2023. Assuming no drought occurs, S&P Global Commodity Insights analysts forecast hydro power to peak around 3.8 TWh in summer 2024.
