SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch new renewable produced or 'green' ammonia prices Dec.1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch on Dec. 1, 2022 a new set of ammonia prices. These latest ammonia prices will be based on production pathways that use renewable power, typically referred to as 'green' ammonia. The prices will show delivered prices into Northwest Europe and Far East Asia, the regions that are expected to be importers of green ammonia. The new assessments will be in $ per metric ton and $ per MMBtu for the locations below:

The prices will appear on the recently launched dedicated report, Platts Hydrogen Daily, complementing the 'blue ammonia' prices where 90% of its CO2 emissions have been captured and sequestrated.
