SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies Singapore dirty demurrage rate description

Platts would like to clarify that its Dirty Demurrage FOB Singapore assessment reflects the demurrage rate of dirty Aframax tankers, typically loading 80,000 mt, as a daily lump-sum rate 7-15 days forward.

This assessment has been published since May 2003, and has since that time represented demurrage for those vessels.

This assessment appears in Platts Asia Pacific/Arab Gulf Marketscan, Platts Global Alert pages 915, 2960 and in the Platts price database under code AALQA00. Please send all further comments or questions to tankers@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
