We would like to clarify a trading source quotation carried in the article: "Germany, Netherlands gain substantial steel export quotas to post-Section 232 US market" carried on pages 1 and 6 of SBB Steel Markets Daily on Friday, November 26.
The second paragraph of the "Turkey rebar trade" section on page 6 should read as follows:
"One of the players undercutting Turkish rebars to USA is Tosyali Algeria," he said, adding that while Tosyali rebars do bear a 25% tariff on exports to the US, they don't also have anti-dumping and countervailing duties, so buyers in the US are already booking rebars ex-Algeria.
