SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts not to publish APS in week Dec 22, early MOC on Jan 2

Following feedback, Platts will not publish the Asia Petrochemicalscan (APS) in the week of December 22.

This decision supersedes the global petchems year-end publishing schedule published on October 24, 2014.

The polymers weekly averages (CFR FE Asia) for HDPE film, LDPE, LLDPE, PP raffia, PP injection and the polymers weekly averages (FOB Middle East) for the week of December 22, will reflect the close on December 24.

The weekly averages of Asian ethylene CFR SE Asia & CFR NE Asia, Asian propylene FOB Korea & propylene CFR China, Asian butadiene FOB Korea, & CFR China & China domestic, Asian MEG CFR China & China Domestic, Asian PTA CFR China & China Domestic for the week of December 22, will reflect the close on December 24.

These averages will be published on PCA, while they will be published in the APS on January 2.

Following feedback, Platts will close its assessment processes for petrochemicals early on Friday, January 2, 2015.

All assessments and market-on-close processes will be basis 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT) on that day.

The Asian Petrochemicalscan (APS) will be published. It will contain daily Asian aromatics and gasoline components (benzene, toluene, isomer MX, PX, styrene, methanol, MTBE).

Weekly aromatics prices and weekly commentaries will not be published. Weekly aromatics assessments that have been suspended will be indicated as "NA" in the APS on January 2. Also on January 2, the polymers weekly averages (CFR FE Asia) for HDPE film, LDPE, LLDPE, PP raffia, PP injection and the polymers weekly averages (FOB Middle East) will reflect the close on January 2.

The weekly averages of Asian ethylene CFR SE Asia & CFR NE Asia, Asian propylene FOB Korea, & propylene CFR China, Asian butadiene FOB Korea, & CFR China & China domestic, Asian MEG CFR China & China Domestic, Asian PTA CFR China & China Domestic will reflect the close on January 2.

All other weekly polymer, olefins and PTA assessments that have been suspended will be indicated as "NA" in the APS on January 2.
