SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue NEAT assessment rationale

S&P Global Platts will no longer publish an assessment rationale for the North East Asia Thermal Coal Index, or NEAT Coal Index, effective December 3, 2018.

The rationale applies to the market data code: JKTCA00.

The last published rationale for NEAT coal assessment will appear in the Coal Trader International publication dated November 30, 2018.

The reason for the discontinuation of the rationale is lack of spot market thermal coal trades in Northeast Asia.

The NEAT assessment, however, will continue to appear in the Coal Trader International publication.
