SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts extends publishing schedule for European oil balmo derivatives

S&P Global Platts will extend its publishing schedule for all European and African oil balance-month (balmo) derivative assessments to the last publication day up to and including the 20th day of each month, effective December 2020.

Platts currently publishes European and African balmo oil derivative assessments up to the last publication day until the 15th of the month.

As part of this change and to provide further transparency, from December 2020 Platts will use only published oil derivative assessments when valuing floating price bids, offers and trades in the physical European oil Market on Close assessment process through the calculation of its various forward, or Mean of Platts London (MOPL) strips.
