SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish new London platinum/palladium prices

Platts will begin publishing the twice-daily London Platinum Price and London Palladium Price provided by the London Metal Exchange, effective December 1, 2014. These will replace the current London Platinum and London Palladium AM and PM fixes. The London AM (symbol: AAIUE00) and PM (MMAHV10) Platinum Price and London AM (AAIUD00) and PM (MMABT10) Palladium Price will be found on the "Exchange-Traded Data and Third-Party Data" page of Platts Metals Daily and on pages 321, 434 and 437 of Platts Metals Alert. As previously announced, the London Metal Exchange has been appointed by the London Platinum and Palladium Fixing Co. to be the new provider of London platinum and palladium prices from December 1, 2014. The LPPFCL announced on July 31 that, following a review of its fixing process, it would begin an RFP process with a view to appointing a third party to assume responsibility for the administration of the London platinum and palladium prices in place of the LPPFCL.
