Platts to end China domestic LPG assessments

Following market consultations, Platts has decided to discontinue its China domestic LPG assessments effective December 6, 2010, due to a lack of market liquidity.

The assessments to be discontinued are published on Platts Global Alert pages 783, 784, 785, 786 and 787.

Platts' current coverage of the LPG cargo market for China would not be affected.

Platts will therefore continue to assess the following cargo markets for China: the CFR South China and Taiwan refrigerated cargo, CFR Shenzhen and Shanghai pressurized cargo.

Platts will also continue to assess China domestic fuel oil markets.
