SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue several duplicate UK power, gas symbols

Following industry consultation S&P Global Platts has decided to discontinue several duplicate symbols for UK power and natural gas prices from February 3, 2017.

The symbols to be discontinued are listed below and are published under Market Data categories EE and EG. Identical prices can be found behind symbols listed at the end of this subscriber note. Platts continues to invite comments and queries to power@spglobal.com with copy to pricemethodology@spglobal.com.
