SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to discontinue two petcoke assessments

S&P Global Platts is proposing to discontinue its FOB US Gulf Coast 5-6% sulfur and its FOB Venezuela 4% sulfur petcoke assessments at the end of February 2017.

Due to evolving market conditions, Platts believes there is no longer sufficient physical production and markets have become too inconsistent or unreliable to assess FOB US Gulf Coast 5-6% Sulfur (code CPAGF00) and FOB Venezuela 4% Sulfur (CPAAD00).

Please address any questions or comments by December 6 to coal@spglobal.com and pricemethodology@spglobal.com.
