Platts proposes CIF MED paraxylene assessment

Platts is proposing to introduce a CIF Med assessment for European paraxylene to run concurrently with the existing FOB Rotterdam assessment.

The new CIF Med assessment would be for cargoes loading 10-25 days forward and it will be expressed in $/mt.

The proposed cargo size is 3,000-5,000 mt for delivery into the following ports: Tarragona, Spain; Algericas, Spain and Sines, Portugal.
