Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch ex-works US Gulf Coast weekly carbon black spot assessments, effective Dec. 20, 2024.
Platts originally proposed this assessment in a subscriber note published on Oct. 28, available here.
The assessments will have the following specifications:

The assessments will reflect spot prices at 1:30 pm US CT every Friday and will follow the US publication schedule.
