Platts to discontinue Americas asphalt commentary

Beginning the week of Dec. 14, S&P Global Platts will no longer publish the US asphalt commentary.

This commentary is published on the last business day of the week in the US on Platts Global Alert page 596, and does not appear in any publications.

There will be no change to the US asphalt assessments.

The asphalt markets tend to correlate with the residual fuel markets, and the daily US residual fuel oil commentary can be found on Platts Global Alert page 599.
