Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts is proposing to reactivate its assessment of Dutch month-ahead Base and Peak power prices to improve the robustness of its hydrogen cost of production assessments. The Platts Dutch power prices will provide an independent daily valuation of the power component for its full suite of Netherlands hydrogen price assessments.
Platts discontinued all of its Dutch power assessments at the end of February 2018, given changing market conditions.
Daily assessment of the Dutch power prices would begin Jan. 4, 2021, and would publish in the EE Market Data Category.
