Subscriber note: North American coal holiday notice

Per the Platts Holiday schedule (www.platts.com/HolidayHome), Platts will not publish North American daily coal assessments Thursday, November 22, or Friday, November 23, because of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. In addition, Coal Trader will not be published Thursday, November 22, or Friday, November 23. Daily assessments based on trading Wednesday, November 21, will be published that day through Platts Electricity Alert and Platts Market Data and in the November 26 issue of Coal Trader. Per the Platts methodology, because of the November 22 and 23 holidays, the last day of trading for the December 2012, prompt month for purposes of calculating final monthly averages will be Wednesday, November 21. The final monthly prompt-month averages for Platts Daily OTC Assessments and the Platts Broker Index will be based on the daily assessments of the December, 2012, prompt month from trade date Friday, October 26, through trade date Wednesday, November 21.
