Centrus President and CEO Amir Vexler said that enriched uranium demand is being driven higher by new nuclear reactors planned by tech companies, data centers, the Tennessee Valley Authority and the US Army. He did not say that the $2.7 billion appropriated by Congress to expand US enriched uranium capacity might not be sufficient to meet expanded demand, as incorrectly reported in a Nov. 7 article.
