Platts proposes to discontinue three European fertilizer freight assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to discontinue three Fertecon European freight assessments, effective Feb. 19, 2024.

Platts proposes to discontinue these freight assessments due to changing market dynamics.

The affected assessments appear in the biweekly European Fertilizer Report and are published on the Fertecon Connect Data Browser. They do not appear in the Platts PricePoint database.

The following freight assessments are proposed for discontinuation:

• Morocco NW Europe 8-10,000 mt
• Baltic UK 3-4,000 mt
• Morocco Spain/Italy 3-6,000 mt
