Beginning December 1, 2011, Platts will introduce waterborne CBOB assessments for the US Gulf Coast.
Platts will assess CBOB barrels intended to be blended with 10% ethanol with finished product octane ratings of 87 and 93 octane.
The proposed assessments will be aligned with Colonial Pipeline's current CBOB specifications. The waterborne assessments will be assessed FOB US Gulf Coast and will conform to Platts' current USGC gasoline and distillate waterborne methodology.
