Due to the US Thanksgiving holiday on November 24, Platts will make the following changes to its normal metals price assessment schedules:
US aluminum alloys, aluminum scrap and New York dealer tin will be assessed once for the week on Tuesday, November 22. Normal US Wednesday weekly assessments will be done Tuesday; Thursday weekly prices will be assessed Wednesday, including the global Metals Week Molybdenum Dealer Oxide price. The Platts global Molybdenum Daily Dealer Oxide price and the US Aluminum Transaction price will be assessed on November 24-25 with the prevailing US values, in accordance with their London schedule.
Regarding PDF publications, Platts Metals Daily, US close edition, will not be published on November 24 and 25, nor will Steel Markets Daily, and there will be no daily US steel assessments on those two days.
Europe-assessed steel prices and Asia-assessed iron ore and coking coal prices will be published in Steel Markets Daily on Monday, November 28. COMEX prices will be published in the November 28 COMEX edition of Metals Daily. Metals Week will publish on Monday, November 28.
