Effective November 13, 2009, Platts is aligning the timing guidelines in its European oil derivative assessment processes with standards already in place in Asia.
In those markets where bids/offers are submitted directly via eWindow, spread positions for derivatives must be received no later than 16.15.01 London time, and outright positions for derivatives must be received no later than 16.20.01 London time.
For questions or comments, please contact europe_products@platts.com, with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com.
Also, in oil derivatives assessment processes globally where eWindow is used, the price of any position entered directly into the eWindow environment can be adjusted until the end of the MOC process.
In non-eWindow environments (where manual processes are employed), the price can be adjusted up to 2 minutes prior to the close of MOC.
