(Correcting year in note for January 1) Platts will not assess European or Americas weekly petrochemicals assessments from December 21 through January 1. Asian weekly petrochemicals assessments will continue to be published on Petrochemical Alert, except on December 25 and January 1 when Platts will have no petrochemicals assessments worldwide and the Asian weekly assessments will be brought forward by one day. All daily European, Asian and US prices will continue to be assessed, including PE, PP, C2, C3, C4, methanol, benzene, paraxylene, styrene, MTBE, ETBE and toluene, except on December 25 and January 1, when there will be no assessments. Specific dates:
Tuesday, December 15: The final Solventswire for the year will be published. The final Europe and the US ACN weekly commentaries and price assessments for the year will be published. Asian weekly price assessments for solvents and ACN will continue to be published on PCA on December 22 and December 29, and will be listed in the first Solventswire of 2016 on January 5. Wednesday, December 16: The final Polymerscan for the year will be published. Daily polymer assessments will continue and be published on the Platts Petrochemical Alert service. Asian weekly polymer assessments will continue to be published on PCA on December 23 and December 30, and will be listed in the first Polymerscan of 2016 on January 6. Thursday, December 17: The final European and US weekly intermediates assessments and commentaries for the year will be published. Asian weekly intermediates and SBR assessments will continue to be published on December 24 and December 31. Friday, December 18: The final European & Americas Petrochemicalscan and Olefinscan for the year will be published. The final European and US PTA and European SBR weekly assessments for the year will be published. Asian weekly intermediates and SBR assessments will continue to be published on December 24 and December 31. Daily aromatics, gasoline components, olefins, polymers, intermediates and natural rubber assessments will continue to be published on PCA and will be listed in the first Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan and Olefinscan of 2016 on January 8. Wednesday, December 23: European and Americas weekly polymers assessments and Polymerscan are suspended. The weekly averages of daily polymer assessments for the week ending December 25 will be published in the first Polymerscan report of 2016 on January 6. These weekly averages will also be published on PCA. Asian weekly polymer assessments will continue to be published on PCA, and will be listed in the first Polymerscan of 2016 on January 6.
Thursday, December 24: Asian assessments and pricing window will be from 12 pm to 12:30 pm Singapore time. European assessments and pricing window will be from 12 pm to 12:30 pm London time. Americas assessment processes will be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm Eastern Time. Asian weekly olefins, aromatics, methanol, MTBE, intermediates assessments and rationales, and the Asian Petrochemicalscan will be published this day. Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day): No Platts services or publications worldwide. The European & Americas Petrochemicalscan, aromatics weekly commentaries and weekly price assessments are suspended. Olefinscan, European and Americas weekly olefins assessments are suspended. The weekly averages of daily Europe and US aromatics, gasoline components and US cumene assessments for the week ending December 25 will be published in the first European & Americas Petrochemicalscan of 2016 on January 8. The weekly averages of Asia, Europe and US olefins assessments for the week ending December 25 will be published in the first Olefinscan of 2016 on January 8. These weekly averages will also be published on PCA. All weekly assessments and commentaries in Europe and the Americas are suspended. Asian weekly olefins, aromatics, methanol, MTBE, and intermediates assessments, as well as the Asian Petrochemicalscan will be published one day earlier on December 24. Tuesday, December 29: Weekly Asian price assessments for solvents and ACN will continue to be published on PCA , and will be listed in the first Solventswire of 2016 on January 5.
Wednesday, December 30: Weekly Asian polymer assessments will continue to be published on PCA, and will be listed in the first Polymerscan of 2016 on January 6.
Thursday, December 31 (New Year's Eve): Asian assessments and pricing window will be from 12 pm to 12:30 pm Singapore time. European assessments and pricing window will be from 12 pm to 12:30 pm London time. Americas assessment processes will be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm Eastern Time. Weekly Asian olefins, aromatics, methanol, MTBE, intermediates assessments and rationales, and the Asian Petrochemicalscan to be published this day. Friday, January 1, 2016 (New Year's Day): No Platts services or publications worldwide. The European & Americas Petrochemicalscan, aromatics weekly commentaries and weekly price assessments are suspended. Olefinscan, olefins weekly assessments are suspended. The weekly averages of daily Europe and US aromatics, gasoline components and US cumene assessments for the week ending January 1 will be published in the first Europe & Americas Petrochemicalscan of 2016 on January 8. The weekly averages of Europe and US olefins assessments for the week ending January 1 will reflect December 31 and be published in the first Olefinscan report of 2016 on January 8. These weekly averages will also be published on PCA. All European and Americas weekly assessments are suspended. Weekly assessments that have been suspended will be indicated as "NA" on PCA on December 31. Asian weekly olefins, aromatics, methanol, MTBE, and intermediates assessments, as well as the Asian Petrochemicalscan will be published one day earlier on December 31.
