SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches interim USGC 3.5%S fuel oil swap

With effect from November 14, 2016, Platts has launched a new temporary assessment for US Gulf Coast fuel oil RMG 380 3.5% sulfur swaps. This was previously announced in a November 11, 2016, subscriber note.

This new assessment appears on PGA page 510 and in US Marketscan under the name "Interim USGC HSFO Swap." The product code is AAVAB00.

This interim assessment will be published until its discontinuation on December 15, 2016.

As previously announced, Platts USGC 3.0% sulfur fuel oil assessments will be renamed USGC HSFO and will reflect USGC RMG 380 3.5% sulfur fuel oil with effect from January 3, 2017.
